CCC's Haiti Relief
As the people of Haiti start to move out of Port-au-Prince and head toward Northwest Haiti, NWHCM is looking for supplies to support not only the influx of people but also those in need of medical attention. We at CCC have made a commitment to support Northwest Haiti Christian Mission located in Saint-Louis du nord. We are asking for your help in one of three ways.

First of all, financial assistance is needed. NWHCM will be shipping tons of supplies from the states to Haiti over the next year or more and shipping costs could keep supplies from getting to the people who need them. There is also a need for funds IMMEDIATELY in Haiti to provide for necessities that people need sooner then they can be shipped from the US. Secondly, CCC has become the Collection Center for NWHCM in the Cincinnati/Dayton Area. The following supplies are being collected RIGHT NOW to be shipped out the middle of February.

• Over the counter medicines:
  • Tylenol (adult and children’s)
• Prescription Medications:
  • All Antibiotics, especially cephalosporins, Metronidazole PO & IV; IV fluids – Ringers Lactate , 0.9% NaCl, Zofran, phenergan
• Supplies:
  • 4×4 gauze pads, conforming bandage (i.e. Kerlix), Betadine, gloves, underpads, thermometers, pressure cuffs
